A man who smashed a charity box and threatened to “destroy” a pub after being refused service has been fined.
Fraser Wyllie was refused a drink at the Gordon Highlander in Inverurie and stormed out.
Aberdeen Sheriff Court heard yesterday that he then returned threw a charity box, before smashing a glass cake stand.
He shouted and swore and staff saying “I am going to destroy this place” before leaving.
He then went into nearby Edwards, where he picked up two pint glasses and threw them against a window, which smashed.
When arrested and taken to Kittybrewster Police Station, he told officers he wanted to be the worst prisoner the had ever dealt with and kicked PC Kimberely Emslie. He then charged at PC Matthew Correlli in an attempt to flee.
The officers shouted for assistance and he was eventually restrained.
The 20-year-old admitted the offences, which happened on August 2.
Defence agent Graham Morrison said it was “strange behaviour for someone who has never been in trouble before.”
He added that his client had no recollection of any of the incidents due to his alcohol intoxication.
Sheriff Gary Aitken ordered Wyllie, of Threave Place in Inverurie, to pay compensation of £390 for the damage cause and fined him a further £1,400.
