A shop worker had to be given medical treatment after an alleged robbery at an Aberdeen shop today.
Police say a 41-year-old man has been arrested in connection with it and another incident elsewhere in the city
Officers were sent to the shop on Heathryfold Crescent at around 2.25pm.
They said that a woman working there at the time had to receive medical treatment, but added that she had not suffered any serious injuries.
It followed an incident at a shop in nearby Marchburn Drive just minutes beforehand, where a “small quantity” of alcohol was taken.
Detective Sergeant Stephen Beattie said: “I would like to thank those who assisted at the scene which enabled officers to take quick action.”
