Commuters have donated more than £60,000 to support nurses caring for terminally ill patients in their homes over the next two years.
Jackie Smith, from Turriff, was the face of a campaign launched to highlight the important work of Grampian nurses who volunteer for Marie Curie.
Fundraisers were based at Aberdeen railway station for seven weeks encouraging people to donate money to the charity.
The Team Jackie campaign raised £66,708.
Mrs Smith thanked everyone who backed the campaign.
She said: “Thank you so much to everyone who has supported ‘Team Jackie’, we’ve had such a fantastic response.
“I’ve been overwhelmed by how the campaign has resonated with people and encouraged them to support us.
“There’s also been people come up to me who said they now know that Marie Curie supports people with all terminal illnesses, not just terminal cancer.
“It’s been really positive and I feel very privileged to have been involved.”
