Police have recovered thousands of pounds of heroin in Aberdeen after a house raid.
The class A drugs, which police valued at about £3,600, were seized during a search of a property in the city’s Hazlehead Terrace area.
A 37-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the find.
DC Matt McCall said: “Thankfully a large quantity of an illegal substance has been seized before it had the chance to end up in the hands of vulnerable people.
“North-east division is committed to tackling drug use and we carry out activity on a daily basis to remove even more substances from our communities.”
Anyone with concerns about drug misuse is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
