A man has been arrested after police made a £1 million drugs bust in Aberdeen today.
Officers working with the National Crime Agency say the 22-year-old was allegedly involved in illegally importing and supplying Class A drugs.
They seized 45kg (7 stones) of MDMA, or ecstasy, with an estimated street value of £1 million.
Detective Chief Inspector Graeme Naysmith said inquiries are ongoing into the “intelligence-led operation.”
A case has been referred to the Procurator Fiscal.
