A 21-year-old man has been charged following an incident of seat-throwing at Pittodrie.
A chair was thrown at this month’s Scottish Cup tie between Aberdeen FC and Rangers from the away fans section after the final whistle.
As a result of the incident a man sustained a head injury which required hospital treatment.
Police today confirmed the man from the Glasgow area is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today to face a charge in relation to an “alleged incident of culpable and reckless conduct”.
