Aberdeen substation transformed into colourful boombox mural

Woodside Primary school pupils won a grant through the U Decide community funding event for Tilly, Woodside and Seaton. Our idea was to promote intergenerational work between our pupils and older adults in the local community. The older adults live on Great Northern Road and we frequently visit them for a digital skills project. Outside their residence is an old electric substation which they felt needed improving and cheering up. We have secured an international artist, Patricio Forrester, from Artmongers to paint the mural from Friday and over the weekend.
