An Aberdeen man threatened to rape a police officer’s daughter after being refused entry to a city bar.
Sean Bardrick became abusive after a bouncer would not let him back in to the venue on Hadden Street.
The 29-year-old told the doorman he “ran the place” and challenged him to go “toe to toe” when he was refused re-entry after going out for a cigarette at about 10pm on March 22.
Aberdeen Sheriff Court heard that Bardrick then told the doorman he would put his mother in a wheelchair.
Police were called and arrested him, who then butted an officer while he was being searched.
It left the policeman with bruising around the bridge of his nose.
Bardrick, of Lorne Buildings, Aberdeen, was taken to the police station in Great Northern Road in a police car, shouting and swearing while in transit.
Lynzi Souter told the court that in the car, he told an officer: “I am going to rape your daughter, I’m going to slit your throat.”
Bardrick admitted two charges of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing, threatening people and uttering threats of violence and abuse towards the bouncer and police officers.
He also pleaded guilty to assaulting an officer.
However, the court heard that since the incident Bardrick’s behaviour had been monitored and he had kept out of trouble.
Sheriff Ian Cruickshank put him on a nine-month supervision order.
