Police searching for a missing man from Aberdeen say his family are “increasingly anxious” to trace him.
Alistair Cunningham, who is considered “vulnerable”, went missing from the city’s Cornhill area on Sunday night.
The last confirmed sighting of him was at 10pm.
But police now believe Mr Cunningham may have taken a bus to Bucksburn the following morning.
Officers are scouring CCTV footage to try to confirm the sighting of the 56-year-old on Monday.
A force spokeswoman said police were “increasingly concerned” for his welfare.
Inspector Graeme Penny said: “We want to trace him as soon as possible to ensure he is safe and well.
“Mr Cunningham is considered vulnerable due to a number of health concerns and, as time goes by, his family are growing increasingly anxious to trace him to ensure he is OK.”
Mr Cunningham is described as 5ft 5in tall, with blue eyes and greying, brown hair.
When last seen he was wearing a dark coloured jacket with a hood, dark trousers and white trainers.
