A motorcyclist is being taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following a crash on a major north-east road this afternoon.
The incident, involving the one-vehicle, happened on the A90 outside Laurencekirk at around midday.
A police spokeswoman said: “We received a call of a one-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle on the A90 outside Laurencekirk around 12pm today.
“The rider has been taken to hospital but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.”
The road was reopened a short time later.
