Two of our loyal readers are celebrating winning the latest £250 competition prizes.
There is a total of £3,000 to be won in The P&J cash giveaway, as we reward our devoted customers every day this week.
To register, all you have to do is input the place name printed on the front of your copy, alongside a unique code online.
Tomintoul and Huntly were the latest place names to be drawn, with Hamish Milne, 70, from Inverness one of Thursday’s lucky winners.
Mr Milne was delighted to have won and said it was “nice surprise”, as it was the first time his name had been drawn in a P&J competition.
“I’ve been reading The P&J since I was a boy,” he said.
“My mum and dad bought it and I’ve continued to read it – so it must be about 60 odd years now.
“I was joking to my wife that I was going to spend the winnings on some golf equipment but she thinks I’ve got enough.
“I may have to think of something other than sports gear.”
Our other winner, Douglas Fowlie, 59, from Inverurie was also delighted to have scooped a £250 prize.
Mr Fowlie said he rarely entered competitions and so winning the first he’d entered for quite some time was a welcome shock.
“I get the P&J delivered every morning and I’ve been reading it all of my life,” he said.
“I don’t know what I’ll spend the money on. I haven’t quite made up my mind yet.”
