A public consultation will be held on Wednesday to discuss the fate of the Dubford Bus Gate.
The meeting will take place at Scotstown Primary School and starts at 7.30pm.
A Scotia Homes proposal to remove the bus gate for a trial period during 2020 will be discussed.
If successful, it could potentially be removed permanently in the hope it will attract additional investment to the area.
Bridge of Don Community Council have organised the meeting and are encouraging residents to go along to ask questions and make their opinions known.
Community council members and local councillors will be in attendance.
Representatives from Scotia Homes and Aberdeen City Council Planning and Roads department were invited but declined to attend.
Replying to the community council, Scotia Homes said it was too early in the consultation phase for them to go to the meeting.
Part of their response said: “Given that we have received formal feedback from more than 450 householder addresses covered by the consultation to date, it is important to ensure we retain the same consistency around available information to the remaining respondents and must await the closure of the consultation period on November 18 prior to any future meetings with the community and council.”
The Roads department said it would be difficult for them to answer questions as they have not yet seen any proposal submitted by Scotia.
