A “disturbing” wave of graffiti is continuing to blight Aberdeen’s west end.
Hazlhead, Queens Cross and Countesswells councillor Martin Greig said he had received reports of swear words scrawled on Great Western Road.
The bus shelter on Forrest Avenue has also been targeted.
Last month writing matching a “tag” used by a gang appeared on lampposts and electrical substations on Fountainhall Road.
Mr Greig said: “This wave of graffiti in our area is really disturbing.
“The damage has happened over a relatively short period of time and has to be stopped before it can develop any further.
“This unpleasant activity causes a lot of damage in various ways.
“The presence of graffiti is known to create an impression of disorder and can cause or trigger other forms of antisocial behaviour.
“It is so unfair that our very scarce public resources have to be used to clean away these deliberately offensive activities.”
