Cats and dogs at an Aberdeen rehoming centre were treated to a special visit by Santa Claus.
Mrs Murray’s Home for Stray Cats and Dogs celebrated Christmas day by bringing in Saint Nicholas and gifting some of its longest residents with new goodies.
The animals were also gifted goodies, new beds, blankets, stockings and toys for each dog and cat.
The charity was able to provide the new gifts after launching a shoebox appeal.
The dogs were able to tuck into a Christmas dinner of chicken, ham, sausages, Yorkshire pudding, carrots and gravy with kibble.
The cats were treated to chicken, smoked salmon and ham.
Staff at the centre thanked the public for the donations in the run up to Christmas day.
A statement from Mrs Murray’s said: “A huge thank you to each and every one of you who have collected and donated this Christmas.
“The residents were very spoiled. We have been speechless and humbled by your generosity and kindness – and at times we couldn’t keep up with you.
“We do appreciate all your support and without you we could not provide the Christmas the dogs and cats in our care deserve.”
