A van and six other vehicles have collided on the A90 near Brechin.
Officers were called to the incident just after 7pm this evening when a van was travelling south on the northbound carriageway.
The van collided with the central reservation, crashing into two before the remaining vehicles were struck by debris.
A spokesman said there are “relatively minor injuries”.
The road was previously closed and obstructed by debris.
Diversions were in place and traffic was being diverted through Brechin.
The road was reopened just after 10pm this evening.
