More than 4,000 people, representing 130 organisations, took part in last year’s Celebrate Aberdeen parade.
And the colourful spectacle will return on August 29, with organisers now inviting those interested in taking part to come forward.
It recognises and celebrates the contribution that charities, voluntary groups and social enterprises make to people’s lives across the city and shire.
As well as third sector organisations, youth groups, sports clubs, cultural organisations, music, dance and entertainment clubs also take part, walking the length of Union Street watched by thousands of spectators.
Parade organiser and Celebrate Aberdeen volunteer, Katie Aldred-Dow, said: “As we enter a new decade, we’d like to see this year’s parade being bigger and better than ever before.
“The first parade took place in 2011 and the main objective now is the same as it has always been – and that’s to recognise the contribution these organisations make to our lives.
“The scope and diversity of the participants grows each year and we celebrate each and every one of them.
“We know, however, that there are many other organisations out there, large and small, that deserve to be recognised for what they do and we would love to see them join us on the day.”
The event is organised and run by volunteers and headlines a weekend of live music and entertainment at venues across the city centre.
Registration is free and is open until Thursday, April 30.
