A teenager who was taken to hospital with two broken ankles after falling 20ft from an Aberdeen flat claims his drink was spiked earlier that night.

Osh Arthur was on a night out in the city centre when he started to feel unwell.

After leaving his girlfriend in a pub alongside friends, the 19-year-old made his way back to her flat on George Street.

When he arrived, he was confused as to why she wasn’t home and now believes someone put a drug in his drink.

Receiving no answer after ringing the buzzer, Mr Arthur climbed up to one of the windows before plummeting down to the street.

Speaking to the Evening Express, he said: “I was screaming in agony on the floor for up to 30 minutes before two people came.

“They called an ambulance and I was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

“I am not a big drinker and had barely had a drink, so it was strange I felt so sick.

“I still can’t explain why I did what I did. I was in some kind of dreamlike state.”

The former Aboyne Academy student suffered two broken ankles and injuries to his hands, a hip and elbow in the incident last month.

He has now spoken out to encourage people to keep an eye on their drinks when they are out on the town.

Mr Arthur added: “Spiking can happen to anyone at any time.”
