Octopus arms spotted wriggling out from The Press and Journal office
The Press and Journal office has been taken over by a giant octopus with tentacles wriggling out from the balcony.
Don’t worry, we are all safe inside – the spectacular tentacles are actually part of this year’s Spectra Festival.
Taking a maritime theme, the event will have numerous sea creatures popping up all over the city.
The octopus appears to be to breaking out with eight arms dangling from the Marischal Square building – four more can be spotted spurting out from Aberdeen’s Art Gallery.

Artists both local and international have been drafted in to fill the city with colour from February 13-16 as the festival returns following a two-year hiatus.
