Emergency services were in attendance at Peterculter Golf Club this evening.
A fire spokeswoman said that teams were called to assist with a “mud rescue” after a person got stuck in water.
She said: “We were notified by police at 8.47pm to a potential incident.
“We mobilised to Peterculter Golf Club, on Burnside Road, to assist with a mud rescue.
“The incident was in regards to a person who was stuck in mud at the water there.
“Six appliances were in attendance and had specialist equipment, but it turned out the fire service was not required.
“We stood down at 9.56pm.”
The person’s condition is unknown.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman declined to comment.
Aberdeen Coastguard have confirmed they were not involved in the incident.
