Improvements will be made at an Aberdeen care home following the death of a resident in February.
After receiving a complaint, and as admissions were suspended, the Care Inspectorate launched an investigation into the incident at the Riverside care home.
Operator Craigard Care Limited is now drawing-up an action plan after inspectors found a lack of skilled staff as well as an overall lack of staff at the home.

It is doing so as additional support is offered by Aberdeen Health and Social Care Partnership (AHSCP) to ensure “high quality care”.
Craigard Care managing director Stephen Cowie said the business was working closely with the AHSCP and Care Inspectorate to maintain “high standards” at Riverside.
“An action plan is being developed in consultation with all of the relevant authorities to ensure residents are safe and well cared for at all times,” he said.
“The action plan is addressing all issues of concern and will ensure improvements are made at the home which can be sustained into the future.”
Letter were sent out yesterday to the families of residents, detailing AHSCP’s intervention.
AHSCP chief officer Sandra MacLeod said: “We are working with Riverside Nursing Home to address staffing issues and to ensure residents’ personal and care needs are fully met.
“Alongside our partners, we have deployed care managers, social workers and nursing staff to assist the home’s management and staff in delivering high quality care while an action plan is drawn up.”
