Accident causes huge traffic jams in Aberdeen

Motorists have been warned to expect delays at one of Aberdeen’s busiest roundabouts following a three vehicle accident earlier this morning.

A lorry and two cars were involved in the collision just after 9am next to the KFC take-away restaurant, North Anderson Drive, at the Haudagain Roundabout.

No one was injured, however the vehicles remain at the scene.

Police have warned that traffic in the area could be slow “for some time”.

Elsewhere, a car broke down on the northbound lane of North Anderson Drive near Murdo’s.

It is understood the vehicle has now been moved from the road.
