A dessert parlour could be opened up at the site of a former Aberdeen comedy club.
Breakneck Comedy moved to new premises at Castlegate earlier this month, leaving the 3,400sq ft unit at 22-24 King Street empty.
Plans have now been submitted to Aberdeen City Council, requesting permission to turn the venue into a restaurant.
The files were lodged on behalf of Prestwick firm Flakes and Buns, which runs a dessert parlour there.
Flakes first opened in 2018 and offers delivery and collection on waffles, cakes and ice cream.
Last night its owner declined to comment further on the application.
Prior to Breakneck Comedy taking over the premises in November 2017, it was home to Indian restaurant Maya.
