A third British man seen in a video posted by Islamic militants Isis is believed to be from Aberdeen.
The man named Brother Abu Bara’ al Hindi by ISIS, and named locally as Abdul Raqib Amin, is understood to have appeared in a the 13-minute video, There Is No Life Without Jihad.
An acquaintance reportedly said he believed Raqib had moved to the UK from Sylhet District in north eastern Bangladesh some years ago, and went to school in Aberdeen.
Two of the six fighters shown in the film, which emerged on Friday, had previously been identified as Nasser Muthana and Reyaad Khan from Cardiff.
Isis has made rapid advances through Iraq in recent weeks.
