
A 16-year-old boy is in police custody after a burnt out car was discovered outside a hardware store.
The vehicle, which was totally destroyed, was stolen from the Kinghills Road area of Aberdeen overnight between Sunday, August 17 and Monday, August 18.
It was discovered earlier today in the car park of B&Q at Newton of Murcar Industrial Estate, Denmore Road.
A police spokeswoman said: “A 16-year-old male is currently in custody and assisting with police enquiries.”
