
Aberdeen railway station was evacuated this afternoon following a report of a fire in the north staircase.
A fire service spokeswoman said two city appliances attended the incident, which was reported just after 3pm.
She said crews used small gear to tackle the fire, which she described as small.
No one was hurt in the incident, which was under control just after 3.30pm.
A police spokeswoman said British Transport Police were dealing with the incident, but they could not be contacted for comment.
