An Aberdeen sleeper train crashed into a tree this morning.
The train was travelling from London to Aberdeen when it collided with a tree branch near Cupar, Fife at around 8.10am.
A spokeswoman for ScotRail said: “There were no injuries, and the tree was cleared from the line as soon as possible.
“The service is now proceeding to Aberdeen.”
Scotrail suspended all services this morning as wind swept across the country.
