A north-east cyclist has posted a video online which shows the dangers posed by icy conditions.
The cyclist, under the name Aberdeen Cycle Cam, has uploaded footage showing him travelling along the Westhill Cycle Path in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
In the video, which is available on YouTube, the cyclist’s tyres lose their grip on the ice twice, and he falls to the ground.
