Aberdeen’s annual student procession will go ahead earlier than usual this year.
The Torcher Parade will take place on Saturday, March 28, because of changes to Aberdeen University’s timetable.
The move is intended to allow as many people to take part as possible.
The event kicks off at the Gallowgate at 6.30pm and will feature 30 torchbearers leading 2,000 people in fancy dress on flats through the city to raise money for charity.
Now in ias Europe’s largest student led parade.
This year donations will go to Aberdeen Cyrenians and Autism Initiatives.
