Three fire teams were called to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary this morning.
The fire and rescue service responded to a fire alarm at the hospital just after 7am.
Two appliances from North Anderson Drive and one from Aberdeen Central were called.
A fire and rescue spokeswoman has confirmed the incident was a false alarm.
