Police carried out a crackdown on speeding in the Seaton area of Aberdeen last week.
Community policing officers targeted drivers in King Street and School Road between 8am-10am last Tuesday, after concerns were raised by local residents.
During that time, 15 vehicles were stopped and warned in relation to speeding, with two drivers being charged in connection with driving at excessive speed.
Another man was charged and reported for allegedly driving without valid road tax.
The crackdown was part of Operation Whitebeam, which aims to improve the safety of Aberdeen’s roads.
Constable Paul Wigley, who led last week’s action, said: “This operation was run in direct response to concerns that local residents have brought to us regarding speeding and poor driving standards in the School Road area.
“Road safety is a priority for our team and we will be looking to carry out similar operations in the future.”
