VIDEO: Shocking moment flasher is caught by young victim’s dad after chase in Aberdeen

This is the shocking moment a flasher is caught by the scruff of his neck by the dad of one of his victims.

Brian Dawson was chased by the enraged father after he deliberately exposed himself to three children as he walked towards them on an Aberdeen street.

The dad – whose identity cannot be revealed – had been watching the youngsters play on their bikes from inside his house.

When he realised what Dawson had done, he dashed out on to the street and caught him.

Holding him by his jacket while he calls the police, he screams at Dawson in front of a group of startled kids, demanding to know what he has done.

Dawson stands there stunned before he is led away by cops.

The 64-year-old pleaded guilty at Aberdeen Sheriff Court to deliberately exposing himself to the youngsters after the chase was caught on camera and posted online.

The video was posted on social media sites at the time of the incident back in July and received thousands of views.

He initially denied the offence but confessed to the crime when he was interviewed.

When asked why he exposed himself, the pensioner told officers: “Probably because I got a thrill out of it.

“I don’t know, I know it’s sad.”

Defence lawyer Gregor Kelly said his client had been in trouble for similar behaviour before.

He said: “It’s sad and alarming that it’s a repetition of behaviour which seems to have been under control for 18 years.

“He did try to restrict his urges.

“However, he accepts that he requires assistance and education to prevent repetition.”

Dawson received a community pay back order placing him under supervision for three years.
