The show will go on tonight, despite the miserable weather outside.
Aberdeen City Council has confirmed their fireworks spectacular will go ahead as planned.
It comes amid fears the fog which has blanketed the city for the last couple of days would spoil the fun.
Thousands of people are expected to attend the display at Aberdeen beach, which will be set to music with a heroes and villains theme.
The free event includes fire jugglers and a charity firewalk from 6.30pm, and a 20-minute display from 7.30pm.
The best vantage points are the Beach Boulevard, Queens Links and the Esplanade areas.
Park and ride buses will be running from Bridge of Don, Calder Park and Kingswells.
Road restrictions will be in place from 5.45pm until about 9pm.
