Nicola Sturgeon jetted into the Granite City today to unveil multimillion-pound expansion plans for Aberdeen International Airport.
The £20million scheme will increase the size of the terminal by 50%, including two new passenger lounges, an expanded baggage reclaim area and new retail and food outlets.
Taking place over three years, it will be the largest investment since the current terminal opened its doors in 1977.
Meanwhile, the first minister also pledged nearly £25million pound to help the ailing North Sea oil and gas industry.
She set out details of Scottish Enterprise funding of £12.5 million to help oil and gas firms research and develop new technologies and access advice from industry experts.
A further £12 million Transition Training Fund will help oil and gas workers facing redundancy to move into other employment.
