Part of the A90 Ellon Road is to close for overnight maintenance for five nights next week.
From Monday, the thoroughfare will be closed between the B999 and the Parkway from 10pm to 6.30am to allow roadworkers to clean and check the drainage on this stretch of road.
A signed diversion will be in place during operational hours.
Andy Thompson, BEAR Scotland’s north-east representative, said: “The routine drainage inspections will allow our teams to check the overall condition of the drainage systems on this section of the A90, and programme any work as required to repair them around this.
“We’ve taken steps to minimise disruption as much as possible by programming the works to take place overnight, and ensuring access is maintained for residents.”
Motorists are advised to plan their journeys in advance.
