Artwork is going under the hammer today to raise money for care services in the North East.
Some of the auction lots have been created by those who benefit from the services of charity Cornerstone Connects, who will receive the proceeds from the event.
The annual dinner has raised £500,000 since it was launched in 2004, with £36,000 being collected last year.
The charity provides activities for people with dementia and disabilities to help them build friendships and get involved in the community.
Cornerstone’s Director of Fundraising, Lisa Duthie, said: “These works of art are testament to the talent we have and how Cornerstone Connects allows the people we support to flourish when they are given the opportunity.
“The money raised from this year’s dinner will go a long way in supporting the development of Cornerstone Connects, which will benefit many individuals across the North East.”
The lots include two drawings by hyperrealist artist Paul Cadden, a made-to-measure kilt, a luxury break for two, and a Mulberry bag.
The evening at the Ardoe House Hotel also includes entertainment from local singer Paul Black and comedy duo Vic Rodrick and Annie Gunner Logan.
