Staff at Petrofac in Aberdeen have raised more then £40,000 to help premature babies in the north-east over the last two years.
The fundraising efforts included a World Cup predictor game, book and bake sales.
On top of this, the management staff carried north-east wheelchair athlete Kenny Herriot to the top of Bennachie and back.
The £42,000 raised went to Friends of the Special Nursery, the charity of Aberdeen Maternity Hospital’s neo-natal unit, where it has been used to buy a Giraffe Incubator.
The new piece of equipment will promote and stability and growth in fragile premature newly born babies.
Kirsty Bishop, chairwoman of the Friends of the Special Nursery said: “We are incredibly grateful for the amazing support from the Petrofac team over the past two years.
“Their dedication to fundraising efforts has been tremendous and we really can’t thank them enough for raising such a significant amount of money.”
