A teenage boy will be appearing in court today charged with supplying drugs to a north-east schoolgirl.
The 16-year-old boy has been charged in relation to supplying a controlled drug, and is expected to appear in Peterhead Sheriff Court today.
A 13-year-old schoolgirl was rushed to hospital last week after taking what is believed to be ecstasy.
The Fraserburgh youngster was hallucinating and suffering heart palpitations after taking the drug while out with friends on Saturday night.
The girl was rushed to Fraserburgh’s A&E department, where tests were carried out before she was transferred to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
The girl was kept in overnight for observation, and was discharged the next day.
