A man has been taken to hospital after his car hit a telegraph pole on a north-east road.
The call was made to the emergency services at 8.50pm following a collision on the A944 Ordhead to Sauchen road involving a gray Honda Civic.
A police spokesman confirmed the man’s injuries were not serious.
He said: “We are still at the scene waiting for BP to recover the telegraph pole.
“The man was taken to hospital with very minor injuries.”
