More than 30 schools shut its doors for the day after yesterday’s snowfall.
Here are the schools which are closed or partially closed today:
Alford Academy – Changes to School Transport Routes ( 7:45am Premier Coaches link transport 604U Keig/Montgarrie will not be running today due to adverse road conditions.)
Ballater School – SSchool and nursery will open for those who can safely travel. The school will open at 10am to allow safer travel in improving daylight conditions. School transport will collect pupils an hour later than their usual pick up time.
Balmedie School – School Transport Not Operating ( Central Coaches route for Whitecairns and North/West of Balmedie is not running today. The Potterton and Belhelvie buses should be operating usual. )
Craigievar School – School will open at 10.00 am to allow buses and staff to travel in safely.

Echt School – Transport Not Operating but school open as normal.
Glenbervie School – Changes to School Transport Routes ( Both Nicholls and A&I are running today, but will be taking their time and routes may need to change. Please be patient and contact the school if any issues. )
Inverurie Academy – Changes to School Transport Routes ( Stagecoach have advised that the SS649B (running from Chapel of Garioch & Pitcaple) is running approximately 15 minutes late this morning. Apologies for the inconvenience caused. )
Kincardine O’Neil School – The school will open at 10.00 a.m. to allow safer travel for staff and pupils in improving daylight conditions. School transport is operating normally and those children should come into school to be welcomed by the Head Teacher upon arrival.
Logie Coldstone School – Due to the icy conditions on the roads the school will not be open until 10.00am. This will hopefully allow for safe travel for all pupils and staff. ABOYNE taxi will run pick ups and hour later than normal.
Methlick School – Changes to School Transport Routes ( Fiona’s bus will be operating pick up points this morning: Monteach Road end – 8.20 Ythanbank Joinery – 8.35 Diane’s bus will stick to the main roads only this morning. Pick up at Mains of Cairnorrie only at 8.30 am. )
Midmar School – School Transport Not Operating ( Premier Coaches will not operate today. Aberdeenshire bus to update at 8.00am The school is open to those who can travel safely. )
Rhynie School – School and nursery will open for 10am to allow for safer travel in improving daylight conditions.
Rothienorman School – Changes to School Transport Routes ( The bus will be attempting alternative routes this morning so pick up times may vary. )
Tarland School – The nursery will not open until 10am
Towie School – Open but nursery closed to all pupils. Premier coaches not running today due to icy road conditions.
