The emergency 999 service has been restored in the north-east after a technical glitch.
Calls made by a BT landline were not connecting across Aberdeenshire due to a glitch.
999 SERVICE RESTORED
We have been advised by BT that the 999 service has now been fully restored in Aberdeenshire, Tayside and Fife.
