Police were called to Slains Castle close to Cruden Bay this afternoon after a car was reported to have gone around 50ft down an embankment.
The vehicle, which was unoccupied, came to a rest close to the edge of a cliff at the seaside castle.

Police Scotland are dealing with an ongoing incident at Slains Castle, Aberdeenshire where its reported a car had rolled down an embankment.

Coastguard teams are assisting the emergency services while vehicle recovery teams attend the scene.
The man who was driving the car before it went down the hill was uninjured.
