Police have made an arrest in conection with an alleged assault following an incident on High Street in Insch today.
Officers were made aware of a disturbance this morning whereby a 46-year-old man sustained minor injuries.
Inspector Darren Bruce said: “I would like to thank those who assisted in helping officers resolve this situation quickly.
“Although it was initially reported that a weapon may have been used, we do not believe this to be the case.
“Incidents of this nature are extremely rare in this particular area and I must stress that anti-social behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.”
