Motorists are experiencing rush hour delays on a north-east trunk route after a two-vehicle crash.

The crash, involving a Transit van and a Daihatsu car, happened on the A93 Aberdeen to Braemar road at Aboyne at 4.15pm.

A police spokesman confirmed that there were no serious injuries but said drivers would experience delays as officers directed traffic past the stricken vehicles.

He added: “We are arranging the recovery of the vehicles.”
