A driver has been taken to hospital this afternoon following a crash outside Stonehaven.
Emergency crews were called to the one-car incident involving a silver Mercedes at the Cowie Park slip road at Stonehaven on the A90 Dundee to Aberdeen road shortly before 2.30pm.
The driver was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and the roundabout remains closed with drivers being diverted onto the northbound A92.

The extent of the driver’s injuries is not yet known.
A police spokeswoman said they had closed the road until further notice.
She added: “There has been some debris left on the Charleston flyover and officers are checking it over.”
