Aberdeenshire woman appears in court accused of spying on care home residents

A woman has denied spying on residents at an Aberdeenshire care home.

Jackie Hauley is accused of recording one pensioner as they used a commode.

The 31-year-old also allegedly used her phone to take images of another resident of the home with the intention of showing them to someone else.

The pensioners were in their 70s and 80s when the alleged offences took place between 2017 and 2018.

Hauley, of Minto Circle, Inverurie, pleaded not guilty to two charges of voyeurism when the case called at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday.

She is due to go on trial later this year.
