Winter is well underway in the north and north-east of Scotland as another night of plunging temperatures left many areas with a fresh covering of snow this morning.
Police Scotland has issued some winter travel advice, encouraging drivers to leave extra time to get their car ready, while there have also been reports of a few accidents on the roads this morning.
It’s a chilly morning out there. We’re asking you to give yourselves a few extra minutes to scrape the car and demist your windscreens. Take extra care when driving to work, especially on rural roads as there could be patches of ice around the next bend. #keepingpeoplesafe
