A teacher will go on trial next year accused of assaulting a pupil.
The 57-year-old woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, denied repeatedly kicking, seizing and pushing the boy when she appeared at Banff Sheriff Court yesterday.
The alleged incident happened at a school in Aberdeenshire late last year.
Sheriff Robert McDonald deferred the case for a pre-trial hearing on January 30. The court heard the trial is expected to last two days.
