Plans to build 103 new homes in a Deeside community have been submitted to Aberdeenshire Council.
Bancon Homes is currently in the process of creating 395 properties at its Lochside of Leys development in Banchory.
The Banchory-based company has already started work on 56 homes as part of the first phase of its approved masterplan, and now the organisation has lodged an application for the latest phase.
If approved, Bancon will build a total of 103 homes, comprising 79 three, four and five-bedroom detached properties, as well as 24 affordable homes.
Allan Clow, managing director of Bancon Homes, said the development plan has already experienced extensive revision following community consultation, and the latest proposals amend the road layout associated with the site.
He said: “We are very pleased to be moving into the next phase of this new development, which offers homebuyers an exclusive range of homes in an exceptional place to live in Banchory, with its range of excellent amenities and one of the best schools in Scotland.
