Motorists have been advised to take care whilst driving on a north-east road which flooded earlier this evening.
The A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road was struck by floods at the Oyne Fork earlier today.
Aberdeenshire Council has put up signs alerting drivers to the problem.
A police spokesman said: “We were alerted to problems at the Oyne Fork at 2.35pm because of flooding.
“It’s causing drivers difficulty and signs have been put up by the council.”
