A man will appear in court tomorrow in relation to an alleged assault that took place last week.
A 39-year-old man has been charged in connection to an alleged attack on a 30-year-old man which took place near the Co-op store on Buchan Road on Thursday night.
Police were called to the scene around 10.50pm following reports of the incident.

An ambulance also rushed to the street where they found a man in a pool of blood on the pavement near the ATM outside the store.
He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment to serious injuries, but police said his life was not at risk.
Buchan Road was cordoned off on Friday to allow for investigations to continue.
The 39-year-old man is due to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court.
Meanwhile, officers are still appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Detective Sergeant Martyn Thomson said: “I would like to thank those who have assisted with our investigation.
“Our inquiries are ongoing and I would still urge anyone with information to contact us on 101.”
